Art Floor

A new floor without breaking the old one.

How it works

  1. 1

    Site visit and measurement

We come over, check the existing substrate and measure. You receive a written quote.

  2. 2

    Sample and colour

Choose a colour from the chart and an effect — smooth, clouded, burnt — on a real sample.

  3. 3

    Substrate preparation

Cleaning, repairs and a bonding primer. This is the stage that decides how many years the floor will last.

  4. 4

    Application and sealing

Thin hand-applied layers, sanding, and finally sealers against water, wear and yellowing.

People ask us

Is microtopping a paint or a lacquer?+

No. It's a cement-based product — concrete, marble powder and selected aggregates — that creates a natural surface 2–3 mm thick. The lacquer comes only at the end, as a protective layer.

Do the existing tiles need to be removed?+

No. That's the main advantage: after proper preparation, microtopping bonds to the existing floor — ceramic, porcelain stoneware, marble, concrete and more. No construction debris and almost no change in height.

Can it be used in showers and bathrooms?+

Yes. Once sealed with dedicated sealers, the surface withstands constant contact with water. In wet rooms we add a subtle anti-slip texture, and the floor can continue onto the wall with no joints.
